Choreography
After many decades as a principal dancer, educator, and scholar of Odissi, Satpathy has entered a rich period of creation and discovery as she expands the language and movement vocabulary of this ancient tradition through modern choreography. In addition to her solo appearances she dedicates more and more of her time to the development of this new language and the power it holds for dancers from other traditions. Pranati is available for licensing as a duet and Satpathy remains interested in working with dancers and choreographers alike through this process.
